SMC desoldering cartridges were developed for the post-processing of SMT components and handle everything—assembly, disassembly, and cleaning. For use with the MX-500 /-5000/-5200, CV-5200, CV-500 with the handpieces MX-RM3E, MX-RM6E, MX-H1-AV, CV-H1-AV. The SMC range includes tunnel cartridges for the removal of multi-lead, dual-sided components such as SOICs, SOJs, and TSOPs. Quad cartridges are used for removing four-sided packages such as QFP and PLCC; blades are used to enable effective and rapid cleaning of PCB pads.
