The Kay SL combines all the benefits of the Birkenstock classics Tokio and Boston into one model. The upper instep strap can be folded back to serve as a heel strap for added support. The slip-resistant super outsole rolls smoothly and is oil- and grease-resistant, with an EVA midsole that cushions each step. This flexibility and slip-resistance make it ideal for the medical field. The outsole is tested for slip-resistance according to EN ISO 20347:2012 (SRA category). The sandal features an anatomically shaped cork-latex footbed, an easy-care ko-Flor PVC material with a soft, breathable fleece lining, and adjustable metal pin buckles. The flexible, skin-friendly leather insole gently conforms to the foot´s contour, while the open-pore surface ensures breathability, even during intense activity. A deep heel cup provides stability and support, comparable to a closed shoe, and the heel bar activates calf muscles, stabilizes the rear foot, and improves step guidance. Width: narrow. Size: 41
