Endurance Lithium 12V 200Ah Heat-Bluetooth is made for use in motorhomes, caravans, boats, electric vehicles, holiday homes etc. For both industrial and commercial use. The battery has an advanced built-in battery management system (BMS). The BMS protects against short circuits, high temperature overcharging and shuts down the battery if something unforeseen happens. Endurance Heat has a built-in heating foil and can be charged in sub-zero temperatures. The heat is automatically activated when the battery is charged below 0 degrees and turns off again when the right temperature is reached. The heating foil only works when charging, the foil never takes power from the battery. The built-in BMS control manages the heat in the battery and starts the heat when needed. For example, we recommend a Victron DC-DC or a Wakespeed regulator between the alternator and the battery to optimize charging and protect the alternator. Battery charger The battery charger should be adapted for lithium batteries. For optimal life and performance, you should follow the recommended instructions. If the charger has multi-stage charging, check that there are no Desulphation or Equalize charge stages where the charger periodically charges with voltage up to 15-16V. Solar controller. The regulator should be adapted for lithium, we recommend Victron MPPT for optimized charging and easy setting. If the regulator lacks settings for Lithium batteries, it should only be used if it can be set/programmed to the recommended value. We always recommend changing to a regulator adapted for lithium.
