The deeply molded heel area supports the foot tissue and keeps the heel bone stable in its natural position, offering nearly the same support as a closed shoe. The heel cup activates the calf muscles, stabilizes the rear foot, and improves step guidance and coordination. Inner and outer arch supports provide the necessary stability while walking.
