The Moisture Control Window is specifically designed for use in flexible barrier films to read and monitor the relative humidity in barrier packaging. The humidity is displayed through the color change of the indicator points on the indicator card.

Herrmann Windows are indicators that show whether a critical humidity level has been reached or exceeded in a package. These windows were specifically developed for use in flexible barrier envelopes (PE or aluminum composite films) and allow the humidity to be read without opening the package. The color change of the indicator cards shows the relative humidity and is reversible, meaning that the color changes back when the humidity decreases.
