The reversible humidity indicator with a range of 10 % to 40 % rH indicates the degree of humidity within a package.

Ideally, the moisture indicator is used in the packaging in conjunction with desiccants and thus provides information about the prevailing climate inside the packaging. As the moisture level increases, the respective display fields change color from blue to pink.

The more display points are pink, the more humid the climate inside the packaging. If a discoloration has occurred despite the use of a desiccant, this indicates that the packaging is damaged or the desiccant was not sufficiently dimensioned.

If the humidity in the packaging drops again, the color changes from pink to blue.
