It enables gradual heating, reduces the risk of thermal shocks in the substrate and components and operates at a lower temperature on components connected to ground planes. The temperature is measured with an external thermocouple and the heat is automatically controlled by the console, which can store up to 25 different profiles. The connection of up to four external thermocouples enables high-precision control of the component/PCBA during the heating process.
