MX-500AV Soldering and Rework System

The system utilizes SmartHeat® technology, in which each soldering tip is equipped with a self-regulating heating element that "senses" its own temperature and precisely maintains the preset idle temperature throughout the entire service life of the heating tip. The tip temperature is determined by the inherent metallurgical properties of the heating element; no external adjustment or equipment is required. The MX-500 features a switchable dual port and 40 W SmartHeat® power. An LED display shows the power drawn from the solder cartridge both graphically and numerically.
