Extended Reach tips are designed to remove solder from through hole joints where access is an issue,thermal mass is a concern and standard ThermoDrive tips wont fit between the pins. The ID of the tip should be slightly larger than the OD of the pin being desoldered. ID: 1.02mm (0.040") X OD: 2.54mm (0.10")
