Victron's AGM Deep Cycle has a very low internal resistance which allows the battery to deliver high currents. The battery is advantageously used in battery banks where converters, bow thrusters, etc. are used. The battery is completely closed and maintenance-free in the sense that water does not need to be filled, however, the battery should be maintenance charged if the battery is not used for long periods. Always charge fully before storing the boat for the winter. The number of cycles the battery can be charged depends on how deeply the battery is discharged. 400 cycles at 80% discharge. 600 cycles at 50% discharge. 1500 cycles at 30% discharge.
