The Blue Smart IP22 can be used on devices in your workshop and on motor vehicles such as cars, motorcycles, boats and RVs. The Bluetooth Smart Blue Smart IP22 charger is the wireless solution to monitor voltage and current, to change settings and to update the charger when new features become available. High efficiency Sets a new industry standard: With 94% efficiency, these chargers generate up to four times less heat than the industry standard. And once the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0.5 watts, about five to ten times better than industry standards. Adaptive 6-stage charging algorithm: Test - bulk - absorption - renovation - float - storage. Blue Smart chargers feature a microprocessor-controlled, adaptive battery management system. The adaptive features automatically optimize the charging process relative to the way the battery was used In storage: Less maintenance and aging when the battery is not used Storage mode is always activated when the battery has not been exposed to discharge for 24 hours. In storage mode, the float voltage is reduced to 2.2V/cell (13.2V for 12V batteries) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive electrode plates. Once a week, the voltage is raised back to the absorption level to equalize the battery. This feature prevents electrolyte and sulfate deposits, one of the main causes of premature battery failure.
