The dongle can read data from any product with a VE.Direct port, such as BMV-70x series battery monitors, Phoenix inverters with VE.Direct port, MPPT Solar charge controllers. The Victron VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle uses Bluetooth Low Energy, the low power version, which is an Internet of Things technology.
